As we are in August, I am sure many of you either have, are planning on, or know someone going crabbing. Now I don’t know about you, but when it comes to cooking crabs, chicken,  and shrimp I LOVE using Old Bay Seasoning, but we all know it’s fairly expensive, so I bring you a DIY (not quite a famous restaurant recipe) version of Old Bay Seasoning.

Growing Veggies At Home

I’ve discussed ways you can save money by cooking at home, such as buying in bulk from wholesale stores. Now I want to make an amendment to that. Normally buying in bulk is helpful for when buying non-perishable products, meats/poultry, and other foods that have a long life span when either refrigerated or frozen. Two food groups do not fall under that requirement; fresh fruit and fresh vegetables. Now most of our cooking will be done with vegetables rather then fruit so this post will focus on saving money when it comes to buying vegetables.
