About

Since you are taking the time to read through my site and learn how I saved money by cooking famous restaurant recipes at home, I figured I would take the time and tell you a little about myself. I recently graduated with a degree in Information Technology and work in an office for an awesome company doing a job that I actually like. However, before I was bringing in “big bucks” working a full time job, I was a college student living paycheck to paycheck working a 20 hour a week-barely making more then minimum wage part time job on campus. Don’t get me wrong that would have been an adequate amount of pay if I didn’t have a credit card bill, phone bill, car insurance, car payment, and grocery shopping to do, plus I LOVED eating my favorite meals at my favorite restaurants a little too often.

Going into my last year of school I decided to cut some corners, and one of those corners was eating out so often. In a weird twist of events and heavy trial and error I learned how to stock a kitchen, cook filling and sometimes healthy meals all while saving money by buying smart. This is my blog about how I learned to cook famous restaurant recipes and save money by cooking at home.

Now that I got a job that allows me to go out to eat a bit more often, and a mom that cooks delicious food, I’ve decided to give back to others and share my knowledge of famous restaurant recipes and cooking tips.

Thank you for reading! (don’t forget the ads, I don’t make all that much haha…)
